Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024, Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani expressed bullishness about the India growth story, saying “Nothing can stop India from becoming a $35 trillion economy by 2047” and going on to say that “Gujarat alone will become a $3 trillion economy”.
Ambani went on to lavish praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, crediting him for India’s swift ascension as a global economic giant, and said that he is the “most successful Prime Minister in India’s history” and the “greatest global leader of our times”.
He went on to highlight Reliance Industries’ contributions to the growth narratives of both Gujarat and India. Additionally, he highlighted Jio’s endeavor in deploying 5G infrastructure, described as “the fastest rollout globally.” Emphasizing the role of AI in propelling inclusive growth, he underscored its potential in enhancing Healthcare, Education, and Agricultural productivity across Gujarat and India.
Furthermore, his vision encompasses elevating Gujarat as a trailblazer in New Materials and the Circular Economy, with plans to establish India’s premier Carbon Fibre facility at Hazira, pioneering a new industrial paradigm.
Ambani’s commitment extends beyond Gujarat’s borders, aspiring to contribute to global prosperity, evident from his discourse at the Summit, outlining his aspiration to position India as the world’s foremost growth engine.
