BJP Alleges Opposition Seeking Bangladesh-Like Situation

Mumbai: BJP Maharashtra Chief Spokesperson Navnath Ban on Tuesday accused Shiv Sena (UBT), MNS, and party MP Sanjay Raut of attempting to mislead students and create unrest similar to the situations witnessed in Nepal and Bangladesh. Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office, Ban claimed that India’s youth stand firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and would not support such efforts.

He said the BJP was ready for a discussion on the anti-paper leak law in Parliament and accused the Opposition of avoiding debate. Ban defended the Centre’s decisions on Article 370 and making Vande Mataram compulsory, stating that the government had fulfilled long-pending national commitments.

Ban also criticised Uddhav Thackeray for alleged political arrogance and accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and NCP (SP) MLA of spreading misinformation over examination paper leak allegations. He maintained that the government would take strict action against anyone found guilty in examination-related irregularities while ensuring that students’ interests remain protected.
