Jyoti Abrol
  1. Schindler India Appoints Jyoti Abrol as Senior Vice President and Head of HR 

Past: Thermo Fisher Scientific India 
Present: Schindler India  

Schindler India, a subsidiary of the Schindler Group and a global leader in elevators, escalators, and related services, has appointed Jyoti Abrol as its new Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources, starting from July.  

Jyoti joins Schindler India from her previous role as Director of HR at Thermo Fisher Scientific India, bringing with her over 23 years of extensive HR experience across diverse sectors including manufacturing, biotechnology, agriculture, staffing, media production, and financial services. Her prior professional engagements include roles at Monsanto Company and Indusion Consulting.

  1. Rajesh Nair joins Jindal Steel & Power as Head of HR Commercial 

Past: Tata Motors  
Present: Jindal steel  

Jindal Steel & Power has named Rajesh Nair as the Head of Human Resources and Commercial, starting July.   

Nair brings more than thirty years of industry expertise across sectors including motor vehicle manufacturing, appliances, electrical & electronics manufacturing, and mining. He joins Jindal Steel & Power from Polycab, where he held his previous position.

  1. Vidhu Arora Joins Tasty Bite Eatables as Chief Human Resources Officer 

Past: PepsiCo 
Present: Tasty Bites 

Tasty Bite Eatables, based in Pune, has appointed Vidhu Arora as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July. Reporting directly to Dilen Gandhi, Managing Director & CEO, Vidhu will operate from Pune in her new capacity.   

Vidhu joins Tasty Bite where she amassed over 8 years of experience, culminating in her role as head of talent and organization development for the APAC region. With a total of 15 years in HR across Retail and Food & Beverage Services, Vidhu also brings valuable insights from her previous tenure at PepsiCo, where she spent more than six years. 

  1. Goldman Sachs announces multiple leadership appointments 

Goldman Sachs has appointed Sudarshan Ramakrishnan and Devarajan Nambakam as co-heads of Investment Banking for India. In their new roles, Ramakrishnan and Nambakam will oversee the firm’s investment banking strategy and drive growth across industry sectors in India, emphasizing deeper client relationships. 

Additionally, Sunil Khaitan has joined Goldman Sachs as Managing Director and Head of Financing in India within the Investment Banking division. Alongside Kailash Soni, Head of ECM in India, Khaitan will focus on expanding the firm’s offerings by providing innovative equity, equity-linked, and debt solutions to clients. Previously, Khaitan held the position of Head of ECM for Southeast Asia at a leading global investment bank. 

Sachin Kaistha
  1. Sachin Kaistha Named CHRO for Sugar Business at DCM Shriram

Present: DCM Shriram 

DCM Shriram, a diversified conglomerate involved in sugar production, chemicals, and agri-business, has appointed Sachin Kaistha as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for its Sugar Business division.  

Based in Gurgaon, Kaistha brings over two decades of HR experience across Pharma, Automotive, Retail, and FMCG sectors, specializing in Manufacturing HR, Sales HR, and Corporate functions. His career spans notable stints at Cipla, Eicher Polaris, Tata Motors, Future Retail, and SC Johnson, focusing on HR processes, change management, digital transformation, and talent development. 

Harsh Bhutani
  1. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Names Harsh Bhutani as Chief Financial Officer 

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has appointed Harsf Bhutani as its new Chief Financial Officer. With 25 years of experience in finance, Bhutani currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance for the India & Southwest Asia Operating Unit at The Coca-Cola Company. 

In his new capacity, Bhutani will oversee HCCB’s financial operations, encompassing Business Transformation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Taxation, Treasury, Audit, Accounting & Controls, Reporting & Analysis, and Risk Management.

  1. Nitin Shah named as group Chief Financial Officer of WhiteOak Capital Asset  

Past: Merrill Lynch and the Mahindra & Mahindra Group 
Present: WhiteOak 

Management Names as On Tuesday, WhiteOak Capital Asset Management revealed Nitin Shah as its new Group Chief Financial Officer.  

Nitin Shah brings three decades of financial leadership expertise, having most recently served as Managing Director and Global Co-Chief Financial Officer of Goldman Sachs’ engineering division. His earlier roles include positions at Merrill Lynch and the Mahindra & Mahindra Group. 

Suruchi Bhatia
  1. Suruchi Bhatia Assumes CHRO Role at RLG by Reconomy 

Past: Azure Power India 
Present: RLG Reconomy 

RLG by Reconomy has named Suruchi Bhatia as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new capacity, Bhatia will spearhead culture transformation initiatives and foster the internal talent pipeline at RLG. 

Before joining RLG, Bhatia held roles at Azure Power India as Lead – HR Business Partner and CoE – Performance Management Systems. Her previous experiences include positions at ASA Industries, Omax Autos, Camfil Air Filtration, and Mawana Sugars. She commenced her career in 2005 with IFFCO TOKIO.
