In utter amazement, people couldn’t believe what they were seeing as they shared these captivating stories. However, there was a twist – it turned out they didn’t actually happen. The seemingly mind-blowing physical advertising campaign was a product of special effects.
National and international media outlets couldn’t resist covering the captivating sight of eyelashes adorning London Tube trains and buses. We were this close to jumping on the bandwagon and sharing the exciting news ourselves.
What was the campaign?
We’re talking about Maybelline’s latest promotional campaign for its popular product, Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Mascara.
In an act of pure ingenuity, Maybelline has adorned the front-ends of select Metro trains and buses with whimsical giant eyelashes, instantly granting them a playful and enchanting appearance. But that’s not all – various bus and metro stations showcased oversized mascara tube stands, enhancing the overall eye-catching effect to a whole new level.
