Every BJP Worker Must Actively Contribute to Building a Developed Maharashtra: Ravindra Chavan

Pune, August 31: Maharashtra BJP President Ravindra Chavan on Monday urged every party worker to dedicate maximum time to organisational activities and actively contribute to the vision of a developed Maharashtra under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Addressing the inauguration of the BJP State Executive Committee meeting at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch in Pune, Chavan said the party had organised extensive training camps for workers across Maharashtra. Efforts are also underway to develop new speakers who can effectively communicate the achievements of the state and Central governments to the public.

Chavan said the BJP’s strong performance in recent elections reflected the organisational strength of its workers. Of Maharashtra’s nearly 28,000 gram panchayats, BJP-backed workers currently serve as sarpanchs in around 8,000 to 10,000 villages, he said.

He also called for a statewide campaign to keep youth away from drugs and stressed the need to strengthen the party organisation across all 1.56 lakh polling booths. Every worker, he said, should be given a specific responsibility and actively participate in party activities.
