It was exactly so at Vashi station in a recent event that has since gone viral. The video shows the unity of the passengers focussed on rescuing a train passenger who was stuck under a local train. In an effort to rescue him, these common citizens can be seen pushing a heavy rail coach while a few of them were gathered near the motor cabin. Netizens were in awe at witnessing this act of bravery by everyday Mubaikars.
In accordance with reports, Railway Officer threw light on the issue of the trapped passenger, which happened because of a trespassing act committed by the passenger on the railway tracks. It also enlightened passengers who regularly commit such acts, showing them the errors of their ways and pushing them to use flyover bridges to cross the train station safely and securely.
