Mumbai, August 13: A meeting with industrialists and representatives of industrial associations from the Chakan industrial area will be held on August 16 at 4 pm in Chakan in the presence of Maharashtra Industries Minister Dr. Uday Samant to address their concerns and find immediate solutions.

The meeting comes amid growing concerns over the poor condition of roads in the Chakan industrial estate. Reports have suggested that infrastructure-related problems could prompt some companies to consider shifting outside Maharashtra or to other districts, potentially affecting employment opportunities.

Minister Samant spoke with representatives of industrial associations in Chakan over the phone today and discussed the issues faced by local industries.

The upcoming meeting will focus on roads, traffic management and other infrastructure-related challenges. Officials from concerned departments will coordinate to identify and implement necessary measures.

Samant said Chakan is a key industrial hub of Maharashtra and ensuring adequate infrastructure and resolving the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs remain government priorities. He emphasized that efforts would be made to prevent industries from relocating, protect existing businesses and safeguard employment through coordination between the government and the industrial sector.

Industrial associations have also expressed their willingness to cooperate and engage in constructive discussions to resolve the issues.
