Sanofi India Limited onboards Himanshu Bakshi as General Manager for Consumer Healthcare business

Sanofi India Limited (SIL) has appointed Himanshu Bakshi as the General Manager for its Consumer Healthcare (CHC) division, effective January 15, 2024.

Earlier this year, SIL had announced the demerger of its Consumer Healthcare business into its wholly owned subsidiary, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India Limited (SCHIL), pending necessary approvals from the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai. The company envisions building the foremost Fast Moving Consumer Healthcare (FMCH) entity globally.

Himanshu brings over two decades of experience in leading FMCG and healthcare ventures, steering them through transformative journeys. His background spans various pivotal roles across commercial, marketing, and general management in both Indian and multinational organizations, including Reckitt Benckiser, PepsiCo, and Dabur. His most recent role was as Managing Director at Danone India.

Joining Sanofi India’s leadership and senior management, Himanshu will also contribute as a member of Sanofi’s AMEA (Africa, Middle East, and Asia) Region leadership team and the CHC senior management. His tenure involves cultivating growth-driven cultures and leading diverse teams to scale businesses.
