S4’s Media.Monks names Robert Godinho as Managing Director – Content for India

S4 Capital’s operational brand, Media.Monks, a digital-first advertising and marketing services company, has appointed Robert Godinho as the Managing Director of Content in India. In this expanded role, Godinho will lead operations with a focus on best-in-class creative innovation driven by AI and the company’s talent hub.

The move aligns with Media.Monks’ efforts to enhance its India talent base, augmenting capabilities in AI and creative technology to serve leading brands globally. Godinho, previously heading the Media.Monks India production hub, will now oversee all content operations in India.

Poran Malani, the Director of Media.Monks India, instrumental in establishing the team, will be leaving the company. Bruno Lambertini, Co-CEO of the content practice, emphasizes India’s strategic importance, envisioning the new era under Godinho’s leadership to offer brands capabilities like hyper-personalization, workflow automation, and virtual production.

Godinho, known for merging his creative studio WhiteBalance with Media.Monks in 2020, brings a vision to create solutions blending art and tech, enabling brands to automate and scale digital content creation. He reports to Matthew Godfrey, VP and Head of Content, APAC, who joined Media.Monks in October 2023, while the data and media divisions in Media.Monks India will continue reporting to Kenny Griffiths, Managing Director, APAC of DDM at Media.Monks.
