Nikunj Garg has assumed the role of Senior Managing Editor at NDTV 24×7, transitioning from his prior position as the Managing Editor of Mirror Now and Times Now at the Times Group.
Stationed in Delhi, Garg will assume oversight of NDTV 24×7, leading all teams and spearheading news acquisition for both NDTV 24×7 and NDTV India. Meanwhile, Vishnu Som will maintain his responsibilities as Group Executive Editor (Defence & International Affairs) and senior anchor, collaborating with Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil C.
With over two decades in the TV industry, Garg has handled diverse functions and bureaus across different states. His extensive reporting spans Latin America to Southeast Asia, the USA, Continental Europe, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, focusing on breaking stories viewed through an Indian perspective on TV.
He played crucial roles at Star and Zee Network, showcasing his expertise. Garg holds a Master’s in English from JNU and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from YMCA.
