Mahendra Dohare assumed charge as Executive Director of Central Bank of India with effect from 9th October 2023. Before his elevation to this current position, Mahendra Dohare was Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank.
His earlier posting in Punjab National Bank was as a Head of Business Acquisition and Relationship Management Division. He has also handled the Digital Transformation Division.
Mahendra Dohare (MBA in Marketing & Finance, CAIIB) began his career with Corporation Bank as a Probationary Officer and has over two decades of professional banking experience in leadership roles.
During his long stint in the Banking Industry, he worked in various Branches from Zonal offices to Circle Office and Head office. He successfully handled responsibilities such as FinTech, Credit Card, Merchant Acquiring Business, IT, MIS & Digital Banking. He also held the position as a Nominee Director on the Board of Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) and PNB Cards & Services Ltd.
