Aman Gupta‘s electronics brand ‘boAt’ has announced the withdrawal of its sponsorship from the upcoming tour of Canadian singer Shubneet Singh, popularly known as Shubh, over his alleged controversial statements supporting Khalistan.
Shubh was scheduled to perform from September 23 to 25 aboard Cordelia Cruises in Mumbai. Boat took to Twitter (formerly X) to announce the decision.
The brand cited Shubh’s controversial actions, including sharing a distorted map of India in support of Khalistani terrorists earlier this year, as the main reason for ending their association with the Canadian singer.
