She shared how, over the last 25–30 years, the Income Tax Department has undergone huge changes, moving from heavy paperwork and files to full computerisation and online systems. She emphasised that everyone continues to adapt so that services reach taxpayers efficiently. she also believes the workplace is where people spend the best hours of their lives, so making it better means improving your own life too. She added that leaders play a key role in shaping the workplace: if a leader is accommodating, understanding, and works closely with people to solve issues, the workplace becomes a better place, but if the leader only gives orders, the culture suffers.
