India to Host BRICS Youth Entrepreneurship Working Group Meeting in Indore

As part of India’s BRICS Chairship for 2026, the Department of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports will organise the BRICS Youth Entrepreneurship Working Group Meeting in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on May 20 and 21, 2026.

The meeting will be held under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability” and will bring together young entrepreneurs and delegates from BRICS nations. The initiative reflects India’s strong focus on empowering youth as drivers of innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable growth.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh mandaviya will address the gathering virtually during the two day programme. The inaugural session will be led by Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha nikhil khadse who will inaugurate the exhibition and deliver the opening address. The session will also include remarks by vishwas kailash sarang  and Dr. Pallavi Jain Govil, Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs.

The event will feature structured discussions, interactive sessions and collaborative exchanges aimed at strengthening youth-led entrepreneurship ecosystems across BRICS countries. Key topics will include digital innovation, inclusivity and sustainability, along with opportunities for cross-country learning and partnership building.

The meeting is expected to promote cooperation among young entrepreneurs, encourage the sharing of ideas and experiences, and support entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth and social impact across BRICS nations.

The initiative further highlights India’s commitment to strengthening youth engagement and expanding international cooperation during its BRICS Chairship in 2026.
