Mindspace Business Parks REIT, one of India’s leading real estate investment trusts, has strengthened its marketing leadership with the appointment of Priya Mathias as Head of Marketing. The hire, confirmed by K Raheja Corp, signals a deliberate push to sharpen the REIT’s brand positioning and stakeholder communication at a time when India’s commercial real estate sector is navigating rapid shifts in occupier expectations and investor scrutiny.

Mathias steps into the role from IndoSpace, the industrial and logistics park developer, where she served as Head of Marketing and Communications for five years. Her tenure there gave her direct exposure to B2B brand building in a sector where long sales cycles, institutional stakeholders, and asset-level storytelling demand a marketing approach distinct from conventional consumer categories. That experience now transfers to the Mindspace ecosystem, a portfolio of premium office parks spread across Hyderabad, Mumbai Region, Pune, and Chennai.

In her new capacity, Mathias will be responsible for brand leadership, digital transformation, stakeholder engagement, business visibility, and integrated marketing strategy execution. The breadth of the mandate reflects how seriously listed REITs are beginning to treat marketing as a function that must serve multiple audiences simultaneously: existing and prospective tenants, retail and institutional investors, analysts, and the broader business community.

Mathias brings over 24 years of experience spanning brand strategy, digital transformation, and business growth across both B2B and B2C contexts. Her career cuts across hospitality, retail, and real estate, giving her a cross-sectoral lens that is increasingly valuable as commercial real estate brands work to distinguish themselves not just on square footage, but on the quality of ecosystem they offer occupiers.

The appointment comes at a meaningful juncture for Mindspace Business Parks REIT. India’s office sector has shown strong absorption in recent quarters, with Grade A parks in key micro-markets seeing high occupancy levels and renewed interest from global capability centres. In that environment, the ability to clearly articulate a park’s value proposition to enterprise decision-makers, while simultaneously maintaining investor confidence in the asset’s income potential, requires marketing leadership that understands both the commercial and capital markets dimensions of the business.

Based in Mumbai, Mathias is expected to drive communications and brand initiatives across Mindspace’s portfolio cities. The hire adds to a growing trend of REITs and real estate platforms investing in senior marketing talent as the asset class matures and its investor base broadens beyond institutional players to include retail participants through the stock exchange.

With Priya Mathias now at the helm of marketing for Mindspace Business Parks REIT, the focus shifts to what she builds next: a brand architecture that can speak credibly to boardrooms, balance sheets, and built environments alike.
