Leadership appointments often show how a company plans to stay ahead in a changing market. As India’s quick commerce space becomes more competitive, Swiggy has appointed former Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha as the Chief Executive Officer of Instamart, effective August 3, 2026. Sinha succeeds Amitesh Kumar Jha and takes charge at an important time, as the company focuses on growing its operations, improving customer experience, and strengthening its position in one of India’s fastest-growing online commerce sectors.

Nandita Sinha brings over two decades of experience spanning e-commerce, consumer technology, retail, and consulting. Prior to joining Instamart, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Myntra, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s market leadership, expanding its customer base, and accelerating its digital and omnichannel growth strategy. Under her leadership, Myntra continued to innovate across customer experience, premium fashion, and technology-led retail while navigating an increasingly competitive e-commerce landscape.

Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Flipkart in key strategic and business leadership roles, following her tenure as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. An alumna of IIT (BHU), Varanasi, she brings a strong combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and consumer-centric leadership—qualities that position her well to steer Instamart through its next phase of innovation and growth.

Nandita Sinha brings with her a strong understanding of building and scaling consumer-focused businesses. Throughout her career, she has led teams through periods of growth, managed large-scale operations, and focused on creating better customer experiences. Her ability to combine business strategy with operational execution makes her well suited to lead a fast-paced business like Instamart.

Her appointment comes at a time when the quick commerce industry is becoming more competitive, with companies focusing not just on growth, but also on efficiency, innovation, and long-term sustainability. With her experience in e-commerce and digital retail, Instamart is expected to benefit from stronger customer engagement, improved operational performance, and a sharper focus on delivering value. As the business enters its next phase, her leadership is likely to help strengthen Instamart’s position in India’s rapidly evolving quick commerce market.
