Vijaya was established in the year 1981 by, Dr S. Surendranath Reddy who now holds office as the Chairman of the group. Working as a consultant radiologist in a government institute, he observed that there was not one diagnostic centre offering all diagnostic services under one roof, which meant that back then a patient did not have the convenience of getting both Radiology (ECG, X-Ray) and pathology related investigations done at one place. Witnessing this personally and understanding the trauma and discomfort of a patient pressed upon him the need for a comprehensive diagnostic centre where both pathology and radiology related investigations can be performed under one roof.

This is the proposition that still differentiates us from other players in the market that offer either pathology or radiology services. We, on the other hand offer everything in diagnostics from a simple blood test to the most advanced radiology investigation like PET CT making us India’s largest B2C comprehensive diagnostic centre.

The ‘coming into being’ of Vijaya as a brand therefore started with identifying an obvious need and innovating for a solution to cater this clear but unaddressed requirement. Even back then in the 1980s, Vijaya employed the best-in-class technology, ensured it followed the best standards and offered the best in terms of service quality. This is demonstrated by the fact that we were the first to introduce nuclear medicine (SPECT) in the diagnostic space way back in 1986. Even today we have very few diagnostic centres in India that operate the SPECT. The guiding principle was to offer the very best quality of service, concentrating on customer convenience and satisfaction at all times.

Our inspiration for innovation and to adopting the most advanced technology in the market has always been to have our ear to the ground and to align our services in a way that it offers customer convenience and ensures that the best possible customer experience is delivered at all times. Being on the ground surveying customers-responses, ensuring that customers are satisfied with our services and constantly evolving effective strategies to improve service delivery – this has been our approach towards business

We are always in an on-going attempt to build a strategically planned network of branches enabling our customers to access our services at a stone throw distance at affordable prices. Our presence in 120 + centres across 20 cities is a testament to this.  We now have the facility of booking a test directly from the website with just a click of a button or from our fully functional AI enabled mobile app. Home collection services are now also a part of our service offering and our team of qualified personnel are trained to draw samples without discomfort to the patient, all this, from the comfort of home.

Talking of our strides towards being the leader in introducing the most advanced technology in the diagnostic space, Vijaya was always known to be one among the pioneers. Our aim behind this is to ensure the best customer experience at all times while adopting the highest standards and reducing discomfort and inconvenience to the patient through the process of performing the investigation. Especially in radiology, the more advanced the technology, the less the exposure to harmful radiation, thereby preventing adverse effects on the health and well-being of the patient.

    • The Dual Source Walk in Walk out Cardiac CT is one-of-its-kind in the whole of South India.
    • The high end 3T MRI performs the most unique of investigations
  • Rajahmundry – The 384 slice cardiac CT is the only one in a radius of 150 to 200 KMs. Vijaya is the only diagnostic centre to perform CT coronary angiography in and around the region
  • Tirupati – The 3T MRI with ambient experience is the only one of its kind in the region that eliminates claustrophobia and makes the overall experience comfortable even for kids

Today, Vijaya has emerged as a house hold name and as a brand of choice for our customers across the AP and Telangana and has a high brand recall.
