It’s that time again! Another weekend rolls in with an exciting new slate of films and series landing on your favorite streaming platforms. This week, you will have a variety of options in genre; if drama is what you want, you’ll find it; if you prefer comedic films, they’re ready to stream, and if you enjoy action-oriented flicks, you can find them too. Here’s a curated look at the best picks streaming from March 2nd through the 8th, 2026.

Silent brilliance and emotional journeys

Gandhi Talks is a major film highlight this week and will premiere on ZEE5 on March 6th. Gandhi Talks distinguishes itself by being almost completely devoid of dialogue and instead focuses on the actor’s ability to convey non-verbal emotional expression with the use of an innovative musical score. For this reason, Gandhi Talks will be one of the more buzzed-about films of the week.

Another movie that will be released on ZEE5 also has a strong emotional component to it, Jab Khulli Kitaab, which is directed by Saurabh Shukla and features a cast of accomplished actors who will portray two individuals in their late 70s dealing with their decades-old secret, defining their relationship with one another. Jab Khulli Kitaab is a beautiful depiction of what happens when two people redefine their love for one another, remember their pasts, and ultimately transform into new versions of themselves.

Reimagined classics and fresh stories

Detective stories of all types are always popular with literature lovers, and if you’re a fan of both mysteries and books turned into films or TV shows, you’ll want to check out Young Sherlock on Prime Video beginning March 4th. This show will put a teenage Sherlock Holmes back into your life during his time at Oxford, where he merges his detective abilities, adventure, and historical intrigue to solve cases.

If you are looking for a light, romantic comedy on the weekend, With Love on Netflix is a great pick. This show features former classmates reconnecting with each other through a blind date, where they learn about themselves and their new lives.

Boyfriend on Demand, a South Korean romantic comedy also on Netflix, tells a whimsical but realistic story about modern romance through technology. This show reveals how our virtual relationships could also help us to find larger truths about ourselves.

Stories that hit close to home

Hello Bachhon tells the story about one man’s aspirations, struggles, and creativity by looking at the journey of Indian teacher Alakh Pandey. This show shows the balance of ambition, struggle, and creative resilience, and many will find themselves inspired or able to relate to the characters. You can start watching this show on March 6th.

Subedaar is a movie made for Prime Video that blends family drama with action, starring Anil Kapoor. This family-centric, character-driven story is about a retired Indian Army officer who is drawn back into the conflict when gangsters threaten his community.

Thrillers and edge-of-your-seat picks

Thriller fans can dive into Siren’s Kiss on Prime Video, a chilling exploration of the impact of an art auctioneer’s past relationships, leading to secrets and suspicion.

If you’re after high-octane drama, Apple TV+ has The Hunt, where a fun weekend getaway quickly turns into a survival game.

Regional gems and diverse flavours

Streaming options beyond the mainstream are equally strong this week. Devagudi, a Telugu rural drama, comes to Sun NXT from March 3, offering an engaging rural story of ancestral roots and changes. ETV Win has an emotional drama titled Charitha Kamakshi from March 5.

This week’s OTT offerings have plenty of content to suit every mood, ranging from heartwarming to inspiring true stories through to creative twists on classic films, as well as lots of thrilling action. If your weekend plans include a cozy watchlist, there’s more than enough variety to satisfy every mood. Stay tuned for next week’s streaming arrivals!
