If your watch list isn’t so exciting, don’t worry! There’s plenty of great stuff to help you fill up your time this week. Between dark superhero shows, puzzling mystery series, heart-warming family movies, and some hilarious comedies, there is a little bit of everything available to stream from May 25 to May 31. No matter if you plan on binge-watching all weekend long or are just looking for one new show to give a try after work this week, there are several new titles being released that you should take a look at.

JetLee (May 25) – Streaming on JioHotstar

Action lovers have a new title to keep an eye on this week with JetLee. If you like watching movies that have crazy action scenes along with dramatic stories with very mysterious lead characters, then you will love watching JetLee! The name of the film alone creates a very big intrigue, as it captures the essence of a film that has a lot of intensity and a lot of emotion. The film will explore themes such as loyalty and revenge in a dark world, where everything has a consequence, and where life and death decisions are made every day. If you enjoy fast-paced action thrillers with larger-than-life moments, this is a title that would be a great addition to your watch list this weekend.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 (May 27) – Streaming on Netflix

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is returning to Netflix after a successful first season, but with even more dark secrets and complicated twists. Pip will find herself in another dangerous investigation as she continues to uncover secrets about her small town, the strain on her friendships, and the toll that pursuing the truth has taken on her emotionally. While suspenseful, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has also done a wonderful job of balancing that suspense with relatable coming-of-age moments, making it an addictive watch for mystery lovers and young adults alike.

Spider-Noir (May 27) – Streaming on Prime Video

Spider-Noir is one of the most-awaited releases this week; it presents us with a darker, grittier version of Spider-Man’s world. Set in a black-and-white, noir-inspired world, this series follows an older private investigator as he navigates crime, corruption, and his own demons. Instead of being a typical superhero spectacle, Spider-Noir has a strong focus on mystery and psychological drama, a refreshing departure from traditional comic-book methods of storytelling. The visual style will impress, and the overall atmosphere should be very gritty.

Four Seasons Season 2 (May 28) – Streaming on Netflix

This warm, witty, and multi-layered comedy series continues the theme of friendship and the ups and downs of adulthood with its return for season 2. The first season received much praise from viewers due to its relatable writing and excellent performances, so it seems as if season 2 will do the same. So, expect even more fun conversations, awkward encounters, and completely user-friendly feelings to continue your binge-watching pleasure.

Murder Mindfully Season 2 (May 29) – Streaming on Netflix

Murder and dark humour meet once again in Murder Mindfully as the new season picks up where season 1 left off. This time, we follow a character who is struggling with his mindfulness journey while simultaneously navigating an increasingly convoluted/shop-in-the-park criminal career. With season two’s more complex plots, wild murders, and increasingly absurd humour, it seems that there’s something for everyone who enjoys a little bit of crime drama but doesn’t take it quite seriously to look forward to this new season!

Brothers and Sisters (May 27) – Streaming on JioHotstar

Brothers and Sisters is an emotionally charged family drama based on the relationships between siblings. The storyline develops sibling relationships of the past and the lingering emotional baggage that is revealed when two families unite. The series is an amalgamation of heartwarming moments and confrontational instances showing how often love and conflict coexist among families. The series will appeal especially to audiences who appreciate emotionally driven storytelling with rich character dynamics.
