Mirzapur: The movie cast fees: Kaleen Bhaiya leaves Guddu-Munna behind, Pankaj Tripathi reportedly takes home Rs. 15 crore
The anticipation for Mirzapur: The Movie is about to come to an end, and the hype created by the trailer has gotten viewers buzzing again about the iconic characters from the franchise. However, this time, another aspect of the film is also making headlines and that is the salary of the characters.
The movie version of the Mirzapur franchise features the same faces from the web series like Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, and Divyenndu Sharma as Munna Tripathi. As per media reports, the actors are getting amazing paychecks for portraying their popular characters for the first time on the big screen.
Pankaj Tripathi reportedly gets Rs. 15 crore
Pankaj Tripathi seems to be the highest-paid actor in the film. According to the reports doing rounds in the media, the actor who has reprised his role of Akhandanand Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya is being reported to be paid Rs. 15 crore.
Ali Fazal’s reported fee is Rs. 4 crore
According to reports, Ali Fazal, who plays the role of Guddu Pandit in the series, has demanded approximately Rs. 4 crores for the film. His journey that begins with a young man seeking vengeance to an influential person fighting for Mirzapur was one of the major plots of the franchise. It is predicted that the film will continue with this journey on the big screens.
Munna Bhaiya reportedly earned Rs. 3 crore
Divyenndu Sharma’s appearance as Munna Tripathi has been one of the major surprises of the movie. In spite of Munna’s fate in the series, he returns with the film, thus adding more interest to the storyline. Allegedly, Divyenndu has been charged with a fee of Rs. 3 crores for playing this popular character once again.
What about Golu and Bablu?
As per the sources Shweta Tripathi Sharma aka Gajgamini “Golu” Gupta is said to earn around Rs. 95 lakhs for the said movie. Meanwhile, Jitendra Kumar, who plays Bablu Pandit in the film will earn about Rs. 1.5 crores.
The direction of the movie is done by Gurmmeet Singh, while Puneet Krishna has written it. Divya Khosla Kumar and Ritesh Sidhwani have backed the project. The film Mirzapur: The Movie will be released on September 4, 2026.
As a caveat, the pay amounts stated above are estimates and have yet to be confirmed by the production house or the actors. If this information is to be taken at face value, then it is clear that Kaleen Bhaiya continues to be at the center of attention in the world of Mirzapur.
