Rapper Badshah has reportedly tied the knot with Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi, and the internet is already deep into celebration mode. The news started making headlines when photos and videos of the wedding rituals, including the varmala and pheras, began circulating online.
Some of these photos were first shared by Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, on social media and show the couple dressed in traditional wedding attire, smiling in an intimate setting surrounded by a small group of family and friends.
The wedding was said to have been a low-key affair in comparison to Badshah’s public persona; however, the rapper has always kept much of his personal life private. This marks a new chapter in the rapper’s life as he was previously married to Jasmine Masih. The two divorced around 2020 and share a daughter.
For a while, Badshah and Isha had been rumored to be together, but opted not to disclose their relationship until now. Reports suggest that they had been dating for some time prior to getting married.
To date, Isha Rikhi is mostly known for her role as an actress in Punjab and her very limited appearances in Bollywood, yet now she has found herself in a blaze of national media focus due to her new role in the life of a famous rapper.
For the uninitiated, Badshah was previously linked to Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, but no official confirmation was ever made.
