Waaree Energies shares climbed 4.7% on Friday, achieving an intraday high of ₹2,974.9 per share. The surge came after its PV Module Test Lab (PMTL) at the Chikhli manufacturing facility in Gujarat was granted NABL accreditation.

The NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation, awarded by the Government of India, signifies a laboratory’s compliance with international standards for quality and technical competence.

By the close of the trading session, Waaree Energies’ stock rose 2.07% to ₹2,897.95 per share, while the BSE Sensex slipped 0.05% to 81,721.14. The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹83,253.23 crore. Over the last year, the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹3,740.75 and a 52-week low of ₹2,294.55.

Situated within Waaree’s advanced module manufacturing unit in Chikhli, this NABL accreditation reinforces the company’s dedication to innovation, quality, and sustainability. The PMTL carries out more than 48 critical tests, including thermal cycling, damp heat, mechanical load, and potential-induced degradation, to ensure PV modules meet stringent durability, performance, and safety requirements.
