The new product, AvSys, enables piece-level tracking for individual packages or within consolidated shipments for airlines
Kale Logistics Solutions (Kale) has announced the launch of AvSys, a new cross-border e-commerce platform designed to help airlines, e-tailers, and shippers or consignees manage individual or high-volume parcel shipments with greater transparency, operational control, and regulatory compliance.
AvSys enables piece-level tracking within either individually or consolidated air cargo shipments, allowing key stakeholders to monitor individual orders while adhering to cross-border customs requirements.
The platform also supports end-to-end operations, with a focus on the middle mile, including first-mile and last-mile visibility, addressing a critical gap in e-commerce logistics.
“The rise of e-commerce has created a need for modern piece-level parcel logistics that traditional airline air waybill-based systems alone cannot support,” said Amar More, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Kale Logistics Solutions.
“Legacy infrastructure was not built for the speed, scale, and transparency that e-commerce shippers now expect, it was based on a kilo-based system, not a piece level system that offers end to end control and transparency.
“With AvSys, airlines, ground handling companies, e-tailers, and relevant shippers and consignees can now deliver visibility at piece or parcel level while remaining fully compliant in either domestic or cross border situations.”
AvSys is designed to enable airlines to offer and operate e-commerce-ready services, maximising the airlines point to point direct services without relying on costly extensive hub-and-spoke networks.
For all stakeholders, AvSys supports real-time end to end data sharing, operational efficiency, and full regulatory compliance.
The launch follows Kale’s acquisition of AVLOG Systems, a specialist express and e-commerce logistics technology provider.
Kale announced AvSys at Air Cargo India, where it is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary alongside representatives from some of the more than 150 airports and seaports it serves.
To mark the 15th anniversary, Kale has revealed a new brand identity which has been designed to reflect how technology enables seamless collaboration.
